The Howard D. Woodson Alumni Association, Inc, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was established to create programs and activities that foster student success through academics, career orientation, and college preparation. Our support is strictly for the students of H.D. Woodson High School and the surrounding community.

The Mission of the Alumni Association is to:

• Mentor students in one‑on‑one relationships to strengthen and enhance individual pride.

• Serve, create, and participate in activities of the school.

• Provide support that maintains and fosters academic excellence.

• Reinstall pride and positive images of the school, students, programs, and activities.

• Act as a liaison between the school, the community, and alumni.

• Provide college subsidies to students in need.
